I subscribed before I was done with the first episode. Classy and smart, like you’d expect from Paris Review, this is a mix of narrated fiction and non-fiction, poetry, and archival recorded material. Wallace Shawn reads a Denis Johnson story in the first episode! This podcast made me feel warm and fuzzy and swaddled by art.

....and sexual assault as a garnish. Really confused how Ep. 16, which was basically a cheesy rap video in written form, made the editorial cut. Why is misogyny and sexual assault ok if it comes from a black man? Is this what we are to expect the rest of the season? If so, I’ll unsubscribe now.

A wonderful podcast that’s just like curling up on couch for good read. But, I’m really driving in my car! Interesting and eclectic prose.
