Caio Benicio, a Brazilian immigrant living in Dublin, shares a remarkable story of bravery and resilience. Caio recounts the day he witnessed a knife attack on Parnell Street on 23rd November 2023, and used his bike helmet to disarm the attacker, helping to save the life of a little girl. Despite his heroic act, Caio remains humble and insists he is not a hero. He discusses his journey from Brazil to Dublin, including the challenges he faced as a restaurant owner and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Caio also talks about his involvement in local politics and his love for Dublin's food and culture.
