“We love this podcast so much more than supposed ‘kid-friendly’ ones like Brains On that rely on insultingly exaggerated characters and diction to get kids interested. The Past and the Curious wisely knows that straight-talking, well-told stories are the essence of history and are plenty engaging with charmingly low-fi accompaniment. (I mean, really charming - Heinie sponsor song, quiz time, etc.)
This is a podcast that doesn’t take down to kids - well done!”
