“The comments on the staff and situation at Mercy hospital are slanderous allegations. Complete maliciousness. You should be ashamed. If the patient were healthy enough to leave AMA as you suggest, he could. Oh wait, he can’t breathe on his own so that could make leaving AMA a little tricky. And it’s so curious how an MD in an ICU wouldn’t want to give a patient meds bought online from a retired OB MD, seeing as how their clear specialty must have been pulmonology, not birthing babies. And did I mishear her say she asked them to wean her husband’s meds down and come in to find them doing just that the next day and somehow felt that to be ridiculous mistreatment? How appalling. 🙄Also “withholding food”?? Exactly how would you like him to eat? Just take that vent out and stick it back in between bites? Ridiculous, uneducated slander.”
