You want to focus on an interesting story, but the narrator keeps interrupting with silly, unwarranted comments.”

“The content of this podcast is great but the delivery is cringy. The host’s dad-joke style commentary is very interruptive to the story and takes away from narrative cohesiveness. Still a decent podcast though.”

“The story is interesting and, like others have shared, the narration is a little over-the-top. But that makes it fun, in my opinion. What I find very hard is the narrator’s jokey nature in mispronouncing country names, like Azerbaijan. As a narrator it’s his job to learn it, not poke fun.”
