“These people are everything wrong with music “critics” or writers. The level of snobbery and lack of care for the actual music they discuss is obvious.
It seems they are more interested in whether liking or disliking something reflects well upon themselves and is nothing but contrariness attempting to be critical opinion. I wouldn’t trust these people to find a melody in a musical and they’d contribute more by writing recipes in cooking magazines.
