A entry-level class on human sexuality
I find this podcast to be male-centric, which isn’t a criticism, just a comment. The podcast hosts are well meaning, but smug, and most of what they seem to espouse has been common, verifiable knowledge for several years. For instance, for more than 25 years the Methodist faith tradition has used a pragmatic, honest, and straightforward curriculum called “Created by God” to teach sexuality to young people. Many of the topics discussed in this podcast are also addressed in the curriculum. There still seems to be a lot of “shame talking” regarding human sexuality with these hosts. That said, if listeners are using this a introduction to learn about sexuality, it’s a good thing. I encourage listeners to keep digging.

More reviews of The Place We Find Ourselves
The Place We Find Ourselves profoundly speaks to my heart. It’s helped solidify ideas and practices learned in therapy and expanded on them in ways that speak laser-focused on the heart. Great work! Thank you, Adam for creating important content.

This is such a rich podcast. It’s informative, curious, and at times, heartbreaking. It’s a powerful combination to have both teaching and a chance to hear painful, yet redemptive stories from courageous people.
