57. From overwhelmed and invisible, to confident, influential, and being paid to podcast: the results of my coaching program with Hetal Baman
Description
Podcasting continues to grow as a vibrant and compelling platform to amplify your voice and impact, tell your story, or share essential knowledge with the world. Yet, the journey into the podcasting world can be daunting and, most times, overwhelming! If you ever wondered what podcast coaching (with me) could look like, take a listen to this episode featuring my PodParty Success Roadmap coaching program Hetal Baman, host of the Global Health Pursuit podcast, and dive into the immense value of podcast coaching highlighted by Hetal’s personal success.
From receiving weekly listener and peer messages to receiving $2,500+ listener donations, to talking to organizations featured on Netflix documentaries, Hetal’s story undoubtedly shows what can happen when you stop trying to ‘make it’ alone.
Unpacking Hetal's Podcast Growth through Coaching
Facing the question of whether podcast coaching is worth it, Hetal shares her perspective. Starting with an online world where people claim to have grown their podcast substantially, she reflects on her journey and successes and attributes them largely to the unique approach brought by the PodParty Success Roadmap: From Struggle to Celebration in 90 Days.
The crux of her growth journey revolves around unraveling the mystery of what proper coaching entails and understanding the possible results you might draw from it. It's about unraveling the specific, unique potential each podcast holds, working with a strategy suitable for your podcast, and learning how to connect more deeply with your audience.
From Burnout to Podcast Breakthroughs Though Hetal boasts of a rich background in engineering and a passion for global health, her initial attempt at podcasting led to burnout and a hiatus from her passion. The act of juggling a high-stress job, maintaining her podcast, battling the mental tug-of-war of her deep-seated desire for achievement, and her reluctance to seek help became her breaking point.
However, 2022 brought with it a renewed sense of direction and purpose. The fire ignited once more; Hetal sought the help of an experienced podcast coach who has a more down-to-earth and practical approach than most online coaches. With newfound determination, Hetal's podcast was successfully relaunched. Now with 47 content-packed episodes under her belt, and counting, the stop button is a non-option.
