“I just started listening to this podcast a couple of months before the 2024 presidential election. I am so impressed with Leigh McGowan’s passion and her deeply analytical analysis of contemporary politics. She doesn’t use theatrics and fear mongering as persuasion; rather, she states pleasant and unpleasant facts. Based on facts, the listener needs to make a personal decision on how important our country’s democratic institutions are, and what you are willing to do to value and protect them going forward. This is an absolutely crucial time in American politics where authoritarianism is on the rise domestically and globally. We need to act and not just lament about the state of political affairs.
