“I found your Podcast last Spring during Covid. I have enjoyed it so much. (And I’m 58) I tried reading the first HP book when it was released because my daughter’s teacher was going to read it to her third grade class. I’d heard all the “evil” about it and wanted to be able to talk to her about it if needed. Unfortunately, all the weird names bogged me down and I couldn’t get passed the third or fourth chapter. Then when my son was in second grade he read the first book and insisted I read it too. I told him it was too much nonsense and I couldn’t do it. He insisted more so I tried again. Well, this time I was hooked!! He and I fought over each book as they came out. My daughter who heard the first book in third grade, watched all the movies but didn’t read another book until her 20’s. She was then hooked too. As she studied through Law school, she would have Harry Potter as background noise. Our youngest son never read the books but enjoys the movies. I have told my children, all grown and on their own now, about your podcast. You communicate the story so well and have made me want to go back and read all the books again. I’ve forgotten so much. I just heard you announce your top 5 status and you gave thanks to the listeners. I give thanks to you!! As the word gets out more, you’ll be #1. Thank you for the time and energy you’ve put into your show. Keep up the great work!”
