No, it’s Going Green, the last Ranger comic produced before BOOM! acquired the license, and it’s…wacky, to say the least. If you heard our episode on The Monster Island Film Vault about “Green with Evil,” then you know this comic is a prequel to that miniseries. It explains how Rita acquired the Green Power Coin—while fighting vegetable people—and chose Tommy as its bearer—after trying to seduce him! Seriously, we’re not sure if this is supposed to be a canonical parody or the creators misremembering how goofy the show was at points. What do you think?
