We’re joined by our two friends, Daniel DiManna (Godzilla Novelization Project) and Travis Alexander (Kaiju Ramen Magazine) to discuss Gosei Sentai Dairanger. This Sentai is in a weird place because it was only sorta adapted by Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers—as in they used mecha footage and some monster footage. The awesome costumes in this series were unused…until Megaforce (but we don’t talk about Megaforce). Daniel is interesting because he’s seen Super Sentai before Power Rangers (a rarity in the English-speaking world) and Travis loves this because it combines two of his favorite things: martial arts films and tokusatsu.
