He made a notable mark on the field of organizational development in many areas, including career development, group process consultation, and organizational culture. His early work included Organizational Psychology, first published in 1965 and what many deem to be his seminal works, Humble Inquiry: The Gentle Art of Asking Instead of Telling in 2013 and Humble Leadership: The Power of Relationships, Openness, and Trust in 2018.
