“The podcast is interesting and admittedly limited in some of its reporting. However the host, as a person of Chinese decent who went to Saturday Chinese school, should learn to pronounce Xi correctly. It is so jarring to hear it wrong throughout the episodes, especially when the non-Chinese-speaking interviewees manage to get it right. It is “shee” NOT “see.””

“I loved this podcast! It was really interesting to hear about the president of China and how the communist party in china works. It really helped to get some empathy for the Chinese and understand why the Chinese government is like it is.

“It is stated in the introduction that the Chinese leader is the most powerful person on earth, this is most obviously not true. The leader of the USA would have that title as of today. China is no where close to being able to make that claim yet and they still have long way to go.”
