While the CCP is extremely sensitive to criticism, this look at Xi is very needed at this time. Certainly Xi will not allow anything other than praise of himself in the country he controls. This is why we outside of his control have to do it. His reign has broken the traditional term limit for his position. He has made himself leader for life. Why? What drives him? Is he a psychopath? All important questions that are banned from being asked in China. Thank you for sharing your work with us in this way!

I wrote the following review before listening to Episode 3 ‘Patriot No.1’ and I am now not as certain: I have read several biographies of Xi and I imagine the podcast authors would have done the same. But these biographies are not acknowledged as sources and they quite properly should be.
