Upbeat, sarcastic, and happy about the macabre!
In the lead-up to Halloween 2015, I found a Dinosaur Dracula’s blog and had a great time with the nostalgic and topical spooky articles. I was so happy to see they were starting a podcast, which was the ultimate countdown to the best holiday- Halloween! After the big day came, the hosts Jay and Matt continued the show as it transformed into a pop culture and nostalgic trip through time. I love the countdown format of the show. Standout episode types for me are the single year focus, and spooky songs. These guys really dig deep for strange toys, foods, movies, and music; I’m amazed how much comes out from the depths of my spoiled mind. For people like me who love Halloween all year round, this is a must-listen. They guys are always so upbeat, sarcastic, and happy about the macabre, that it’s just plain…spooky!

Usually that's followed up by at least one re-listen. This...Read full review »

Jay and Matt, funny guys, have the chemistry to bring up obscure 80s references and the knowledge to expand on them in the best way. The Crypt Keeper made an Christmas album? I didn't know that, but I'm happy to now! Also, you get a lot of Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake's theme...Read full review »
