Decluttering gone too far…
Allie’s brand is about decluttering. Many of us started with her to simply learn how to make our homes and spaces more peaceful by getting rid of all the extra things we don’t need. Well it seems that Allie has decluttered her husband from her life now. Which really taints my view of her approach to everything in the past. Like a true narcissist, everyone and everything else is the problem except for her. I fear for her children one day and what this means for their relationship with their mother years down the road. Will they be decluttered out of her life someday too? And Allie, if you’re reading this, please think about what the common denominator is here. You’re on a journey searching for peace and removing everyone and everything who takes that away from you. But have you considered that you have to bring yourself with you everywhere you go? Look inward. Deal with your heart. That’s the problem. Happiness looks like having peace even when our house is a mess and our husband is getting on our nerves and our kids are too loud. Learning how to be content in all circumstances because our ultimate hope is in Christ will bring you the joy you’re searching for. Peace to you.
