Quick & Inquisitive.
Last week I had been interviewed by Dave Hopkins, a host of The Quickie podcast. This podcast focuses on casual and candid conversations with creatives from all walks of life. What I really liked about this particular interview is how Dave managed to ask me some challenging questions about my life as an independent creative yet these questions never felt forced or intimidating. The host clearly has a talent for putting his guests at ease so they feel comfortable to open up and share their personal stories about design and creativity as well as their victories and struggles. I highly recommend Dave’s podcast to freshly minted design graduates as well as the seasoned creatives because we can all learn from each other by sharing our experiences and adding to the collective wisdom.

I have always been inspired when listening to an episode. The guest’s stories connects everyone in the design field, while still showing the breadth of personalities in the industry. It’s become my go-to podcast for starting my work day.

Don't get me wrong. I love taking the time to listen to longer podcasts, too, but the brief format of The Quickie is pretty refreshing. The convos are real, a bit quirky, and authentic to the creative being interviewed. Love this new resource. 10/10 do recommend.Read full review »

From the very first listen, it wraps you. Good questions, good stories and brings designers one puts in a pedestal to a human level. A quickie to listen to while working, in the car or while making a sandwich. Such a great show and really worth a listen!
