Great pod!
Hello all, excellent podcast with sensible discussion and informative views without being over complicated. Great stuff! Now I have an idea I’d like to share about the new power train regs. My suggestion would be to open up the regs to allow more diversity in designs and possibly be more attractive to manufacturers and independent manufacturers alike. Banning exotic materials, have a maximum fuel use limit and maximum set price to customers for the engines would keep costs in check and standardise the mounting points so making an engine easier to swap between cars. Also have the hybrid system use energy from the front brakes to charge and only be able to use electric drive in the pits. Finally, allow engines to be developed for F1 and WEC thereby allowing manufacturers or independent engine builders (eg Cosworth) to use the same engine/power train in both series making it more appealing and cost effective to produce the hardware. Anyway that’s my view I’d love to hear you’re thoughts. Many thanks!

Finally found where Edd Straw and Scott Mitchell had disappeared too. I had to go through a few Formula 1 podcasts in the mean time but this is still the best in my opinion. Get in there Lewis!!

Great insight from this band of Autosport exiles. Definitely the pick of the bunch.

Can look forward to the new F1 season ( and other motorsport things) with more enthusiasm. Looking forward to the usual...Read full review »
