“Randi’s appeal has been her ability to be on top of her game with pertinent facts at her fingertips. Additionally, she explains those facts more concisely than anyone I’ve ever listened to over the air. However, of late she forgets what she’s told listeners on prior podcasts, claims only she knows certain information because everyone else has forgotten it, and often berates her producer - poor Brett :( - which makes her show impossible to listen to daily (or all the way thru), since I’m not down with her disparaging him the way she sometimes does.
Still, I’m giving her four stars. Even with these obvious flaws, she’s head and shoulders above her peers. Her knowledge base is deeper and broader than anyone in broadcast radio or TV. In these ways she is an absolute gem.
And while she’s now open to admitting her opinion(s) can be incorrect, I just wish Randi would handle some of her dissenting callers with more aplomb and give poor Brett a well-deserved break or two.”
