“I’m trying to keep an open mind listening to this podcast for the sake of my beloved shih tzu Maxx, who is nine years old.
There’s some good information here, but it’s hard to get around some of the biased and political views expressed in the show, including dismissal of wearing masks (claims they do nothing) to prevent Covid, and Covid vaccines not working, which has nothing to do with dogs. It’s irritating having to listen to that when I’m trying to help my dog. Vaccines for dogs may be overdone, or unnecessary, that’s fine, but leave out the rest please. Now I’m wondering how I’m going to deal with my veterinarian who thinks it’s necessary to vaccinate my dog with everything once a year. Im sick of the post cards in the mail they send me. Find another vet If I can’t reason with her.
The show is growing on me though. It’s entertaining. I threw the kibble in the trash. Not buying any more. Cooking my own food for my dog at home, which at least is better than kibble, a step in the right direction, in my opinion. At least I know what’s in it. Primal is no good anymore? Not ordering raw left on my doorstep all day in 90 degree heat. Not feeding raw from the supermarket either! Don’t live near a farm, so what’s a person to do? Now feeding duck feet and beef esophagus as a treat, because I listen to this show.
I like that this show has more than a handful of episodes, like some others, so there’s always new content to listen to.”
