“First, let me say that this podcast is amazingly detailed and thorough. It does a perfect job of capturing the technical aspects of warfare while wholeheartedly telling the human tale. It is well researched and told with passion. I LOVE the manner in which he reads his narrative and speaks as a man truly driven by the quest to remember the history of events. He has the confidence of a man well versed in the material covered and yet humble enough to offer honest moments of self criticism when his research leaves some obscure fact undetermined.
Simply put he is a relatable man who I would love to sit and throw a few cold drinks back while remembering the brave souls who fought under the Queens Colours. I have heard no better podcast to date.
My only advice, don’t apologize for the impersonation accents when reading the accounts of actual participants of the battles. It adds tremendous depth and captures the imagination. It’s done in believable manner and makes the narrative come alive.
