“I am enjoying this series and in spite of having studied Art History in college, I am learning more in-depth information. I just have one teensy little thing that bothers me. The speaker might want to take a class in Beginning Italian. His pronunciations of famous Italian artists’ names is not accurate. It is hard for me to listen to his mispronunciations. I received a BA in Art History and was taught by instructors who travelled to and/or studied in Italy. I have taken an Italian language class from a native speaker so I do know how basic letter combinations are pronounced.
Clearly the speaker knows his subject and definitely knows about the artistic processes.
I’m still listening, but that’s my one suggestion. I hope you are not offended.”
