“Current active duty AST here. Vince La Point did not even complete a full tour (4 years) as a rescue swimmer in the coast guard. Vince was stationed at first in Detroit where he was promptly booted from after sexual misconduct with a female pilot. He was given a last chance in Atlantic City, where he was again booted and discharged from the military. Vince is a terrible ambassador for the AST rate and lifestyle, and continues to profit off of the AST name when he himself could not hack it as one.
