“I came to this having never listened to Critical Roll, but instead had started with The Adventure Zone and Dungeons and Daddies. It has a good story and very high production value, but it turns out I like my D&D party silly, only vaguely aware of the rules, and with lots of table talk. So Critical Roll is for when you’re here for the story, TAZ and Dungeons and Daddies is for when you want to feel like you’re sitting at the table with your friends, one of whom can never remember what he has for spells.”
