So disheartening to hear this story, it’s classic, unfortunately. Problem is, if all the vials of fentanyl for that case were full of saline, administering more wouldn’t have made a difference. The anesthesiologist wouldn’t allow any additional doses. But how bout morphine? Dilaudid? There are other options. So saddened by this.

I went through fertility treatment 40 yrs ago. Invitro was just beginning to be an option. I wanted a baby so intensely that I went through treatment for years unsuccessfully.
