30 year RN,,,,My mouth is still on the floor😳
I left bedside ICU/ER nursing to work in quality over 10 years ago…and I have professional experience with co-workers who diverted narcotics…but I don’t believe they actually swapped solution (God, I hope not, working in Trauma centers)…but at first just listening to the egg retrieval stories I thought, “isn’t egg retrieval uncomfortable to some extent?”…but Holy F&$£🥺 These poor women! I am so ashamed on behalf of my profession…absolutely abhorrent and criminal. Addiction is a disease, but this is just cruel😕

A fascinating examination of how and why women’s pain is routinely dismissed that intersects with other compelling social issues such as the fentanyl crisis and medical care in the US. All that and true crime! (The one star reviews are from people who admittedly didn’t listen to the podcast)

As an original format woman who has suffered with infertility, I could feel this on so many levels. I would have given it 5 stars if so much of it hadn’t been an exact replica of the preview… next time do snippets of different episodes. I hope it gets even better
