What You Need to Know Before You Quit Your Full-Time Job

Description
It has officially been a full year since I’ve been a full-time entrepreneur. I first started my business in the summer of 2019 while I was still at my full-time corporate job. For many months, I juggled both my 9-5 and the freelance clients I was undercharging. To give you an idea, I made $6000 in 6 months of starting my business. Needless to say, that is not enough money to quit my full-time job. So how did I do it? In today’s episode, I’m telling my story about how I finally built my business up to allow me to hand in my two-week notice. I’m so excited to be sharing this because one of the most common questions I receive as a coach is “when did you know it was the right time to quit your job?”  This is why I’ll be diving into the nitty-gritty details from the decisions I wished I had made sooner, the things I wish I had known so that I could expedite the process, the conversations I had, and the mistakes I wish I avoided. If you’re a side hustler and you can’t wait to turn in your resignation letter, this episode is for you. Tune in as I share the things I wished someone shared with me, giving me a heads up on the things I needed to know before quitting my full-time job.   Here’s a closer look at the episode: How much I was making when my business was just a side hustleInvesting and relaunching my businessShifting my goals so I can quit my jobFeeling resentment towards my corporate jobEmbarking on my spiritual journeyHitting the goal of doubling my corporate salaryWhy believing in yourself is so crucial to your success as an entrepreneurNavigating the what if’s as an entrepreneurRecognizing the seasons of your business and preparing for themWhy having facts and numbers will help you feel more secure as an entrepreneurWhen is the right time for you to quit your full-time jobWhere I am in business and life today  My biggest piece of advice if you decide that you want to quit your job, or you're trying to quit your job and go from corporate to just being an entrepreneur is you have to think positive and believe in yourself. - Latesha Lynch  Resources: Website: https://hermarketingcoach.comRevolutionary Brand (now only a part of Revolutionary Society)Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/hermarketingcoach Thank you for listening to the Revolutionary CEO podcast!
