“Before I get to my subject, I have to say, I LOVE this podcast!! It’s fun, informative and… did I mention fun? I really appreciate how y’all breakdown the episodes and actually discuss them. Not every rewatch podcast does that. Great job ladies!! Now to my subject, in the episode Angel, I believe Ash asks if Buffy had a watcher before Giles. I don’t remember if it’s Buffy or Angel, but there is a flashback scene somewhere that shows Buffy finding out she’s the slayer for the first time. A man named Merrick tells her. Merrick was her first watcher but he dies at some point. So, she did have some training before Sunnyvale. Also, I think, don’t quote me, that the show was supposed to be a loose continuation of the movie staring Kristy Swanson. Again, great job ladies!!! I can’t wait to catch up to where y’all are in the podcast and then keep going!! Sarah”
