Not bad, but not good.
2.25 stars. There are so many better done Buffy podcasts. With 2 veteran podcasters the expectations for a new show are extremely high. This is really just surface level analysis. It feels like the Alaina needs to talk more show. And her “expert status” on Buffy is not great. She even gets facts wrong within her explanations to Ash. Example: The Master’s Lair is not under the school. It’s under an old church. I got to the 40 minute mark and won’t be continuing. Their energy is awesome and they seem excited about this series compared to their latest Morbid episodes, but if you’re going to do another podcast on Buffy, it needs to be at least as well done as the other ones that have been out for years. They bring nothing new with no real deep dives that they say they are in the beginning of the episode. Just another promise that they don’t deliver on.

I HAVE FINALLY FOUND MY PEOPLE!!!! Personally, I have been feeling alittle down about life in general and decided that I needed to have some Buffy in my life because this is a show that has helped me through so many times through dark periods in life. It’s like a warm blanket during a snow storm....Read full review »
