Unfortunately a mere shadow of the old podcast
I really wanted to give this a higher rating, but it is a mere shadow of the old pre-DirectTV podcast. It is too long - yet strangely the individual interviews are so short that they barely get started before Rich has to cut them short. It is on too frequently - who has time to listen this long each day? It has too many commercials breaking up the routine of the show. It tries too hard to be funny about Rich brings up silly topics (e.g. the mobile unit that disappeared in Miami). His sense of humor on the old show was much more refined. Sorry Rich, you used to be my #1 podcast, and I would anticipate each week’s episode. After trying to get into this for a while I am now very reluctantly giving up and deleting you.

More reviews of The Rich Eisen Show
I listened to a couple of hours and was thrown off by the background noises and sound effects. At first I thought the studio had an “open microphone”. Surely the producers can’t think the oddly placed sounds add to the quality of the podcast? Love you Rich.

Chris Brockman takes a show that is good and makes it unlistenable. His rants and pro-Boston slant on everything borders on a toddler's tantrums. If he leaves or is fired, I will listen again. Until then, I'll stick with the DP show.Read full review »
