More empathy to those not ultra slim!
As a person who is WFPB and feels relatively good about her body, I cringed many times when I listened to your talk with Johann Hari. Yikes, less judgement about those who don’t have your incredible willpower. Kudos to Mr. Hari for keeping going. I might have walked out as you seemed so dismissive and high-and-mighty. And this is from someone who believes everything that you say about the food industry, big pharma etc. Have some empathy though for those who just can’t seem to do it for whatever reason. And, yes, let’s get to the root of the problem, but with less judgement and more love!! In general though, thanks for making these podcasts. I find many of them very informative. I would love to see many more women interviewed though. And persons of the global majority (ie - non-white!!). I have sent these to my friend who is Black, and although he is interested in just about all the topics you tackle, he never really listens because he says, “Everyone is white. I don’t really feel like he is speaking to me.”

I thought the book was absolutely fantastic, giving me much needed hope that I could make real changes in my life...Read full review »
