“It’s a good show. Maybe the first couple times you hear Ben talk you want to yell at that uppity whippersnapper to simmer down, but with time come to realize it is not feigned enthusiasm. That kid really loves football that much. I mean he must have been real annoying to go to school with but he’s got fun and knowledgable opinions. Shiel is also a dork, but fun enough. Point is it’s the best Philly sports show out there. And while I don’t love the idea of Bill Simmons making money off a Philadelphia show it’s tempered by the thought of him checking the pod rankings and feeling a tinge of bitterness when he sees the words “Philly Special.””
