Fell off a cliff in the last year
I used to look forward to each episode. Then I would start and episode and feel overwhelmed by the sense that the NYT was, frankly, just *whining*. These days. I usually look at the title and mostly decide to skip it for NPR, the Economist, WaPo, Axios, or something independent. Maybe it’ll return to form after this election. 🤞

I like the format. Lots of good insight. Balanced approach. Asks the audience to consider very interesting questions about the candidates.

Smart, thoughtful, interesting and well-edited - this quickly became my favorite political podcast (besides Real Time with Bill Maher). Other podcasts are too coy or are trying too hard to be edgy. This show gives access to the experts in a way that invites you in. 10 stars!

Wonderful first episode. Great to have Newt Gingrich's comments. I wonder if Sean Hannity could be as respectful of someone advising Clinton as you were. Gingrich is one smart and well-read person. You should get him back regularly.Read full review »
