“Astead. Excellent reporting. You make me so angry sometimes as an African American listener. Your re-airing of the contentious Harris interview felt like a personal dig and an ax you were grinding. However, I am learning that we are not a monolith, and your reporting is bringing in the voices of racist Whites in particular that while I hear dog whistles of the Klan whenever they speak, in a democracy- we must hear them as well.
