Update: I loved, LOVED Ms. Hubbard’s delivery and crisp pronunciation and I’m so sorry to see her leave the show. If you google, you can find one explanation sent to Patreon members.
I’ll try to dance between raindrops here, but it seems that Linnea had an issue with a particular story, and felt that reporting; it also seems to me that Malcontent News (MN) looked at the best information they had, and reported the story the evidence suggested. When more information came out, MN revised their story.
It seems like Linnea was still unhappy, and decided to leave. I love Linnea and will keep listening to whatever she puts out, but I do believe that MN believes their motto “the truth matters” and put out the best information they had at the time. They’ve never been shy about admitting mistakes before either
I updated this review because it seems like a few people are now giving negative reviews because Linnea left.
If you’ve read this far, on day 0 MN reported a story that was perhaps a bid mild on blaming Russia for something; later on they revised to say “yeah, Russia probably did X”. To me, that seems reasonable and I’m glad they waited until they had more facts.”
