“I used to listen to this pod religiously. Excellent host, guests, etc. I’m done after this week’s episode.
Nothing personal, but the quality has declined significantly since this new host took over. In my opinion, he doesn’t have the basketball IQ or background necessary to carry a pod on his own.
For instance, his recent take chastising fans for not cheering on Buddy in his quest for a $110 million contract. He says there’s “no reason” not to be supportive of Buddy. Essentially if you don’t support him your ignorant, apathetic, or both.
How about we don’t want our team to cripple its cap flexibility? It’s not as if the fans are jealous of Buddy’s earnings. We want him to be successful, but not at the sake of our future.
With that said, I am rooting for the podcast (since the Kings don’t really have a good one) to return to its prior greatness. Hopefully this host pulls it together or they bring in some one else who can.”
