“This is a good review of WWII so far, but with everything going on in that time this really just scratches the surface. There is a lot of detail missing though that explains some of the actions that take place.
The Midway episode unfortunately perpetuates the thought that the Japanese had planes on their decks when they were attacked. I’d recommend the book Shattered Sword by Parshall and Tully for a great analysis of the battle. But there is pretty much no way that Japan had planes ready spotted on the deck when first hit.”
