Great attempt at a monumental task
WW2 dominates 20th century history. In scale and barbarity it’s hard to appreciate. This saga whilst short on detail is a Sterling attempt to trace the journey from early causes to the final denouement of the German empire. Vignettes of major players and separate analysis of battles and strategic elements compensate for the absolute necessity of using overviews in a number of episodes. Highly recommend.

More reviews of The Saga of World War 2
This podcast is both informative and entertaining. I am a World War II aficionado and I learn things I did not already know which is always a very welcomed surprise.

Great podcast very highly detailed well worth going right back to the start and listening to all in order. Love the part in one intro when he says “ the podcast is taking longer than the real war”. Good work 10/10

Easily my new favorite podcast. I listen on my commute to and from work and while I walk my dog. Or any other chance I get. Hope more episodes are coming soon!
