Overwhelming background music
I really like where this podcast is going - I have a particular interest in this topic and Rebecca Nurse is my 10th great grandmother. Content is great however, in the more recent episodes, the dramatic music after 2-3 sentences throughout the episodes is incredibly distracting and making it almost impossible to listen to. I beg you to tell the story and maybe leave the music for the background or between segments? You’re a great story teller - you don’t need so many musical pauses that interrupt your flow!

Would be SO much better without the weirdly upbeat background music. It’s jarring and makes me feel like I’m listening to a YouTube video with an AI-generated voice rambling on about ancient aliens instead of a pretty decent history pod.

If I could rate this podcast 6 stars I would! Overall this podcast is a 10/10 and I cannot wait...Read full review »

This is one of the best and most in depth podcasts about the Salem witch trials that I have listened to. I would definitely recommend this podcast to anyone interested in the history of the Salem witch trials.
