“I do like Sam and Billie (Billie more so) but it’s quite clear that they need someone to help structure their content in comparison to all the other well-produced, funny Podcasts out there at the moment (Sam yawning out loud the other week was a classic example of some intervention being needed with editing afterwards!).
As others have said, it feels like something they don’t really take very seriously anymore and just do as a chore each week (although, there hasn’t actually been an episode for nearly three weeks now so..).
If they do want to carry on with it, they should probably hire someone who can help make the show seem more professional, with some structured content and relevant guests planned in advance (not just Suzie). Podcasts are a bit like mini chat-shows these days, so there has to be some sort of structure to the episode or it just seems quite amateur.”
