Unsung greatness
This show is fantastic! Great, wide ranging topics. And I love his pace and tone, too. Everything is clearly explained and the fast pace makes everything seem even more exciting. My favorite episodes have been on language, knowledge representation, and especially memory encoding. The physics-related ones are great too. Everyone who’s interested in science should be listening!!! My only complaint is the treatment of economics as if it were a science like any other. Sometimes this approach makes some parts of econ more interesting and easier to understand. Other times it is misleading and overlooks crucial social and political dimensions of economics. But I digress…. I certainly can’t blame the podcast for this. Tons of smart people make this mistake!
