Sweeping statements hard to take seriously
Interesting podcast but a very glaring oversight with the following statement: “Testosterone means more to women than EPO does to men” based on the years it’s taken for technology to catch up. This completely disregards the fact that there has been zero research and science development in female sport over the years and is still severely lacking today! So no it doesn’t mean what the commentators are suggesting, it “may” suggest science in sport for women is still lacking! (Which is it) Going to struggle to take this podcast seriously when such sweeping statements are made with no real thought - correlation doesn’t equal causation and as a researcher myself you should always consider wider context.

Incredible insight by one of the worlds leading sports scientists, Ross. Good argumentative discussions looking at all sides of the stories and well hosted by Mike. Subscribed and can’t wait for the next one!
