A Perfect Balance
Thank you for putting this show together! I am an elementary SPED teacher and it is one thing to know about SPD in the classroom world, but another to walk through it with your own child. I listened to one episode and fell in love! We’ve had a rough year with our oldest as we transition him from a birth-3 program to preschool. He is a hard-core sensory craving kiddo and it isn’t uncommon for him to wear out multiple (like 4-5) adults and adolescents per day keeping up with him. Your podcast presents ideas, strategies, information, and relatable stories in a way that is understandable on BOTH a professional level and parental level - something I know is challenging to a achieve. I’ve learned valuable vocabulary to express what I am seeing in my little popcorn kernel and ways to help understand and meet his specific needs. Well done, ladies. Thank you!

I’m an OT in Toronto, Canada but I don’t work in peads. It was never my “thing” during the OT program but now that I have my own kids, I have a whole new level of respect/admiration for what you guys do. Why are these little people so complex?!?! :) Thanks for all your tips and recommendations!

I have a child who was recently diagnosed with a SPD and my eyes hurt from all the reading. I’m so thankful to have a podcast to listen to give me tips & encouragement during this new journey. If only We could hang out in real life because they’re AWESOME and make me laugh.

I just listened to the first episode and I am so excited to be able to listen to you ladies and learn from you. My goal is to use this podcast as part of my self care and to become a better mother for my sensory child who challenges me past my limit every day.
