“The fact that this incredibly ordinary panel attributes quotes to the wrong people and refers to Adnan's attorney by the wrong name (she is both Susan and Sarah during their first 6 episodes) says it all - they haven't listened closely, have no understanding of investigative journalism or storytelling, and accuse Koenig of extreme bias when I have literally never heard a series so biased and uninformed simultaneously in my entire life.
Sorry guys, Adnan's trial attorney's name was Christina, not Sarah or Susan. Sorry guys, Jay used the phrase "animal rage" himself, which was incorrectly and rather ironically described as an example of Koenig's biased editorialising. The level of baseless and, frankly, revolting bashing of Sarah Koenig was insane. There are genuine and measured criticisms that could have been made of Serial, and this addresses zero of them. Criticising a Peabody awarded journalist when you write for The Onion… well, no simile needed.
The actual recording is fantastic - audio quality is high and clear. That's where the adherence to any standard of competence or integrity end.”
