A reviewer remarked a while back that Matt Baume was like a gay Terry Gross. High praise, and totally deserved. I listened to a recent podcast that was longer than my commute, yup, as they say about NPR: good enough to stay in your car and finish the episode. [which I did]

I love the oral history concept. Matt does a great interview where he allows his guests to open up. You feel like you are part of a conversation that you want to keep going well after it’s over.
