“Parts of some earlier episodes really resonated with me, so I was so disturbed to see the latest episode was just an ad for an online forum for women struggling with low sex drive - if you go to the actual “unblush” website, you’ll find it was created by a pharma industry group.
Pushing an HSDD diagnosis and/or medication is not sexual liberation. There are lots of people who identify as being on the asexual spectrum or in flux. Their identities should be validated and affirmed. For people who understand their sexuality to be in dysfunction, yes - medication may work well for some. But to push drugs as if it’s the only option on a show that is supposed to be about sexual liberation, that’s just wrong.”
