“Had to get rid of my tv service a year ago… couldn’t stand it any more. With a virus looming last fall-winter, finally upgraded to a smartyphone. One of the few news shows I made a point to see, was the weekly report by Sharyl Atkisson.
Glad to see it’s here in a podcast, along with “just the news” website n sources; and I can read for myself, find plenty of varied views, some truly reliable sources. And then I can make informed decisions n opinions for myself.
…And then hit the delete/skip buttons when I see my so-called “Smart” phone start force-feeding me skewed news and slanted sources. I’ve been a news & information consumer since I was in grade school. It’s all changed so much since hi-tech everything everywhere all the time started taking over. Some good, some bad. Way too much of it is crap.
Sharyl Atkisson is one of the few, old-school style of journalists that are few and far between anymore. Someone with integrity.
