Books with Hooks
I have listened to most of the podcasts, and have found them so helpful! As someone new to the querying process, hearing the advice of one experienced writer and two experienced literary agents has been invaluable. I had paid for an editorial assessment of my query letter and pages, but ultimately it was the free tips from this podcast that helped me fine tune my writing and letter, and get me my first full manuscript request. Definitely worth the listen for anyone querying. Your query letter and first pages are the only thing standing between you and being published. It all hinges on how it’s presented. You want them to shine! I listen while running, or what I call running, which others might call walking, but either way I’m exercising my mind and body. Thanks to all those who put their time and energy into providing this free resource to the writing community.

Bravo to all fellow writers who are willing to put yourselves under a microscope in public - you are my...Read full review »
