What a beautiful, discomforting piece of work
I sometimes struggle to get a real sense of place from podcasts, but the writing of this one is so incredibly drawn, the language so sparse and yet evocative that it painted unusually clear pictures in my mind. The voice actors are all brilliant and the world building is so clever and three dimensional. The conversation between Carpenter, Paige and Faulkner about faith and education will stick in my head for a long time as will the haunting final episode. I totally recommend this podcast to anyone who likes horror podcasts, chewy worldbuilding and characters that feel three dimensional

As a fan of folk horror, I absolutely adore this podcast. The world is believable and chilling, the pacing is perfect and the voice acting is excellent. I love it.
